Interview with Maggie Casper

Kally: Maggie Casper - award, no, multi-award nominee and winner Maggie Casper is here with us! Yeah. www.maggiecasper.com Hello, Huni!

Maggie: Hi Kally. thanks for having me. No not in that way silly, get your mind out of the gutter. *wink*

Kally: Cannot help myself. It's the way that I am. How are you doing little lady? I hear you've recently moved? How is the new house?

Maggie: I moved this summer and now that we're settled, all is well here. The place I now live is larger than the tiny town I moved from but not quite real city life, which is a good thing since I'll always be a small town girl. A huge plus is. I am closer to my horse. LMAO

Kally: As I am asking all the Chocolates, RT is fast approaching, you looking forward to it?

Maggie: Oh yes, very much so!! This will be my third RT and I have had a blast at each. I'm looking forward to ogling cowboy butts in Texas this year, that is for sure.

Kally: Do you have any big plans for the Lick That Craving?

Maggie: Ya know. I'm just along for the ride. I'm happy to be a part of all this with a great group of authors who know how to have fun. I like to talk, as most of you know and of course, who can pass up chocolate. I really look forward to meeting as many readers as possible during Lick That Craving.

Kally: Ok. How about books? I know you have a new release. Can you tell us about that and what your 2007/2008 line up is looking like?

Maggie: Every Beat of Her Heart just re-released at Samhain Publishing and as of today was #1 on the MBaM list. Wooo Hooo!! The Wedding Dress series, an anthology with Lena Matthews and Liz Andres is now available in print through Samhain as well. The rest of the year looks like this. but your guess is as good as mine when it comes to 2008.

April - For The Love of Callie re-releasing at Samhain (Who can't love that title?)
July - California Cowboy re-releasing at Samhain
October - The Chance of a Lifetime re-releasing at Samhain

Also, Lena and I are working on the third book in the Boulevard Series. Following Maverick's Black Cat and Friends With Benefits is Because Of You, Natalie and Phil's story. We're just as excited about this one as we were the first two.

Kally: I cannot wait!

Kally: Are you going to any races this year?

Maggie: I hope to make it to the California Speedway in Fontana for a race sometime this year but will have to play it by ear.

Kally: You are the big NASCAR fan in the group, so I am going to gear the off topic question to that. If you could have (pretend they aren't married or whatever if it suits the purpose of this) If You could have a dream NASCAR man, who would he be and why?

Maggie: It would be Ricky Rudd. I know, not your typical movie starish NASCAR driver but he's got talent, good looks, and honor. Besides, I've been a fan for years and since he's coming back after one year of retirement to drive the Snickers car for the Yates team how could I not pick him? lol

Kally: Not just that but the man can drive. He seems to not be a media monger. I suppose I can see it.

Kally: You have a guest book on your site, fantastic covers, how about a newsletter? How can readers get ahold of you?

Maggie: Yes, I have a newsletter called the Sultry Siren. You can sign up for it on my website or here.

Kally: Other than RT, do you have any big upcoming gigs?

Maggie: I'll be signing at The Book Ladies in Corona, CA at 1pm on Saturday, February 3rd.

Kally: Is there anything I missed you'd like to talk about?

Maggie: Yes, I'd like to invite everyone to the forum I share with Lena Matthews. We welcome new readers to stop by and have naughty fun with us. You can find us here.

Kally: Thanks for coming. I'll see you soon.

Maggie: Thank you once again for having me. *giggle*
